Better on the B-Side

Here’s a video for our new song “Better on the B-Side.” We were asked by Bill Streeter to take part in Lo-Fi Cherokee this year. Local bands paired up with local businesses on the red-hot Cherokee Street. We shot this one in Carrillo Western Wear at Nebraska and Cherokee. Get down there and get your duds.

New music, live recording, whatnot.

Trigger 5 will be rolling out some new material over the next few months. Catch a show and check out the songs. Also, we’ll be recording a live CD at a show in July. Stay tuned and keep real country alive.

Trigger 5 at the Belgian Beer and Mussel Mania July 21

The Belgian beer and mussel shells will be cracking all day. Come find us upstairs at the Schlafly Tap Room from 5-9pm. If there’s one thing that Belgians know, it’s country music!

 

Trigger 5 and the VonDrukes 3/23 at Plush

Get ready to have your hair blown back. We got punk-a-billy with the VonDrukes and folk blues with Beth Bombara. We’ll throw in some real juke joint shit with The Royal Smokestacks. But most importantly we got high-octane country like you used to get at Sunoco with Trigger 5. It’s all happening at Plush on Friday, March 23. Doors at 7PM. Show starts at 8PM.  Bring friends.

Big show for the Man in Black 2/25/2012

The Atomic Cowboy this Saturday will be quite a scene. Dress in all black and your first drink is on the house. Trigger 5 will be headlining the Cash 80th birthday bash replete with a black balloon release and the ring of fire out back in the fire pit.

The Shroud of Urine

We came home last night to find that our dog “Pi” had peed on her bed and left the image of a smiley face. I don’t know what this means but I take it as a sign from a higher power. Or at least high-powered urine. I know this has nothing to do with the band, but I had to post it somewhere!
